Open Mic with Mike, SGA expands influence

For those of you who couldn't make it out to Open Mic with Mike yesterday, we wish you could have been there. President Adams ran through a quick list of the current projects and notable accomplishments, then, immediately opened the floor up for students' questions.

Concerns students raised included traffic on the East Campus loop, HOPE Scholarship, Honors scholarships, University energy resources and employee wages.

President Adams responded to all questions and concerns and committed that he would look further into the concerns the students raised. Read more about Open Mic with Mike from the Red & Black.

While you're at it, Dallas Duncan wrote an article titled "Campus Ready for SGA Election: SGA expands its influence"in today's issue of the Red & Black. Check it out!

Reminders: Tonight is the mandatory candidate's seminar at 8 p.m. in Tate 481. If you cannot attend tonight's seminar, plan to attend the seminar tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 25 also at 8 p.m. in Tate 481.
